From Queen Victoriarsquos favourite distillery close to Balmoral Castle, this is a complex Highland malt with a fruity, slightly sherry like nose and a light smokiness, along with some green notes of freshly sawn timber. The palate offers a pleasing and quite complex blend of caramel, dry Sherry and spice, followed by a hint of liquorice before the slightly scented finish develops and lingers.. Case of 12
